Technical and Manufacturing details:
- Novel (patent pending) vertical axis design that maximizes output from available wind energy and operates in lower wind conditions/locations
- Low cost design – minimal number of components, low-cost fabrication, no exotic materials
- Eliminates costly system components – breaking resistors, vanes, yaw/pitch controls, tall mast
- Lower LCOE – lower system cost and higher power density than both solar and traditional wind
- Increases applicable markets – lower cut-in speed allows use in low-wind locations
- Fewer permitting concerns – no sweep clearance, low noise, no protruding blades
- Simplified certification/listing – no electromechanical parts, no customized non-UL electronics,
works with available wind and solar inverters - Cost effective domestic manufacture – turbine parts can be economically produced within the
United States
